Below is some general information you may find useful.
Keys – Keys can be collected from a 24 hour lock box from the location provided with your booking confirmation, using the code provided. Do please ensure you leave enough time to collect keys and set the Hall up for your event, and similarly that you leave enough time to clean and tidy the hall after your event finishes. While we’re not counting the seconds The front door key should be returned to security key safe using the code that had previously been sent with your booking details.
Heating – The cost of heating is included in the hire cost of the Hall. The Hall, even in winter, will heat to a pleasant 76 degrees in about 45 minutes. Individual controls for heaters etc must not be adjusted. This can cause problems with the system and most likely cause inconvenience to the next user and/or lead to you being charged for a plumber to call out to reset the system. Please be considerate and refrain from using anything other than the on/off switch.
Hot Water – The switch is located in the room opposite the kitchen. Please turn the immersion heater off before you leave.
Windows – All windows should be locked and the blinds down at the end of your hire please. Tables and chairs – these are stored in the cupboards in the main hall. If you use them, please ensure they are cleaned and carefully tidied away afterwards.
Rubbish – please take it home with you. To keep costs and therefore hire charges to a minimum, the Hall does not have a council rubbish collection.
Cleaning – The Hall is routinely cleaned, however we expect hirers to leave it in the same state as they found it. Additional charges may be made if the Hall needs to be cleaned urgently prior to the next booking if you fail to leave it clean and tidy.
